NRF 1 – Mitochondria

My dear friends, I would love to introduce to you a little video about what is known to be “cellular engine”-mitochondria.

Mitochondria is an intracellular organelle, looking like a little bacteria and it literally provides cells with energy and controls cellular health and our genes among other vital cellular processes.

The number of mitochondria varies in different organs, for example: brain and skeletal muscles contain the largest numbers.

It is proven that mitochondrial numbers and function declines with aging and indeed, contributes to chronic inflammation and disease.

I hope that this brief video will encourage you to pay more attention to “those amazing little creatures” of life.

To health and happiness we thrive.

    • Hi Sveta,
Thank you very much for the awesome presentation. It is interesting and I learned a lot.
Not sure if something is wrong with my phone, but I could only see the video portion of the presentation at the very beginning, then you completely disappeared!! I could still hear you, so, you were there but you weren’t!
I enjoyed the presentation anyway, nice to hear your voice, haven’t seen you for a long time!
